Do you have a tagline for your books?

Hello, there

Following on from my last post about ‘themes’ this one is about taglines. Do you have a tagline for your books? What is a tagline? It is a one-liner that describes your writing. I can give you two examples, including myself.

Joanna Penn, who writes fiction as J F Penn, has a tagline of ‘Thrillers on the edge’. She writes thrillers that are on the edge of being dark.

My own tagline now is ‘Autism meets magical realism’. I write children’s fiction about children with autism who meet magical worlds/animals that help them to get more confident and communicative in life. Children and adults with Asperger’s Syndrome find it hard to communicate with others, me included.

So, what do you think your tagline is or can be? Have a think about what you write and see if you can come up with a one-line description. Good luck and let me know.

If you are interested in reading my books, then I have created a mailing list for my readers at
